Operated on (Bassinis Operation) in 1st US Reserve Hospital on Dec 20, 1898. Note states he was Transport ship Morgan City from Manila, Philippines. There is a letter in the file forwarding criminal charges against him for the larceny of a package of papers belonging to a Mr A Steward, Manager of the Chartered Bank of Manila, Philippines.
